We are now looking for an engaged and analytical Financial Controller for an exciting full-time position. The assignment means you will be directly employed by one of our clients.

As a Financial Controller at our client, you will play a central role in their finance function. You will work broadly with everything from ongoing monitoring and year-end closing to in-depth analyses that help the business make wise decisions. The client is located in modern premises in Uppsala and offers a workplace with short decision-making paths and a good atmosphere.

Your main responsibilities:

• Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Development and improvement of internal processes and control routines.
• Preparation of decision-making materials and reporting to management.
• Be a proactive support to department heads in financial matters.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, analytical, and has a genuine interest in finance. You thrive in working independently but also appreciate teamwork. Since the role involves many points of contact, we see that you are communicative and have the ability to explain financial information in an understandable way.

We believe you have:

• A university or college degree in finance.
• A couple of years of experience in qualified financial work, for example as a controller or auditor.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• The ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
